This Parkinson’s Awareness Month, the Movement Disorders Policy Coalition is proud to highlight the Parkinson’s Foundation as a coalition member. The Parkinson’s Foundation works to better the lives of patients with Parkinson’s disease (PD) by improving care and advancing research. 

“The Parkinson’s Foundation takes pride in providing everything a patient needs to live better with PD,” said John L. Lehr, president and CEO. “By partnering with the Movement Disorders Policy Coalition, we are advancing research and care for people living with PD across the nation.” 

The Parkinson’s Foundation understands the vital role research plays in raising awareness about Parkinson’s disease.  The organization’s commitment to advancing research has led to breakthroughs in treatment and improved care that bring hope to the entire Parkinson's community. In addition to hosting and funding numerous clinical studies, the Parkinson’s Foundation has also developed the Scientific Advisory Board to identify the most pressing research issues in the PD space. 

Parkinson's Foundation is dedicated to providing support for people living with PD at every stage of Parkinson's disease, including free educational resources. such as books, fact sheets, webinars and podcasts.
